Let me introduce myself...
My Professional Experience
Public accounting has been my
chosen career for over twenty-seven years. Prior to entering public accounting, I worked in the Controller’s Group of The Huntington National Bank and served as Manager of Commercial Leasing Operations for The Huntington Leasing Company. A diverse client base over the years has afforded me the opportunity to encounter and perform complex accounting and tax services for individuals and businesses.
My Education
I received my BSBA cum laude with a major in Accounting in 1983 from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio. I was awarded a Master of Taxation from Capital University Law and Graduate School, Columbus, Ohio in 1993. Both of these degrees were earned during the evening while working full-time in the practice of public accounting. Continuing professional education is of utmost importance to me. As such, I have served as a member and course administrator of the CPE Committee of the Columbus Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPA’s.
My Dedication to the Excellence of the Profession
Involvement in the Columbus Chapter of the OSCPA
continues to be important to me. I have served on the Taxation Committee,
Legislative Affairs Committee, Continuing Professional Education Committee, the
Manuscript Review Board of the Ohio CPA Journal and have volunteered at various
public tax information forums.
